Price and Payment

We must receive payment for the whole of the price of the goods we supply to you before delivery unless we have agreed otherwise in advance in writing.

VAT @ 17.5% is already included in prices shown.

While we try and ensure that all prices on our website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund.

All goods remain the property of World of Power.co.uk Limited until payment has been received in full.

For any orders over £1000 we reserve the right to ask for payment via BACS or Chaps transfer we will cover up to £25.00 in Chaps charges where applicable. In these instances no funds will be taken from your card, this will apply especially in cases where goods are not being delivered to the registered card address.

World Wide Pricing Fluctuations

As we are sure many of you are aware this past year has been one of financial instability in the world market, the likes of which most of us have never seen. Unfortunately the downside of this is that the cost of many products has increased on a monthly basis. The pound (£) has weakened against the US dollar by approximately 25% & against the Euro by nearly 30%. Manufacturers and suppliers are changing prices monthly & it is extremely difficult to keep up with these fluctuations. Many of our products are sourced from abroad & those that are not are still made from imported materials.

The upshot of this is that occasionally a price shown on this web site will be incorrect due to an unforeseen uplift in our buying price and we may have to contact you with a price change before accepting your order. We will endeavour to control rising costs as much as possible but in these time please bear with us as we are sure things will level out in due course.

What are your UK delivery charges?

World of Power is proud to offer free standard delivery on orders exceeding £100.00 (inc. VAT) to mainland England, Wales and Southern Scotland.

Orders under £100.00 (inc. VAT) are subject to a delivery charge of between £5.99 (inc. VAT)

Unfortunately, we do not deliver to The Scottish Islands, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Scilly Isles, Channel Islands, The Isle of Wight and any countries outside of mainland UK.

Please note: If you choose to purchase a product for forward delivery to an address outside our delivery area; should the item require any kind of repair or replacement, we can only collect the product from an UK address.

There may on occasion be additional carriage charges dependant on the weight and destination of your pacel, we will contact you in the event of this being applicable. This would only apply to very heavy parcels and out lying postcodes.

Delivery Schedule

Items in stock are normally despatched within 24 hours on a next day carrier service. Out of stock items are typically available within 14 working days, our customer service department will contact you if we foresee any delays beyond this, with the option to cancel your order.

You will be notified by e-mail when your order is despatched, this e-mail will include your order consignment number and carrier contact details.

Please note we can not be held responsible for any orders delayed in the carrier service as this is simply beyond our control.

All orders need to be signed for and cannot be left without a signature.

Important Notice

If parcels are damaged or items are missing you should either refuse the delivery completely or sign for the parcels as being 'DAMAGED'

If the number of parcels does not match or correspond to the consignment note, this must be stated as 'SHORT DELIVERY'

It is your responsibility to ensure that the actions above are followed BEFORE SIGNING. Mistakes cannot be rectified once the number of packages has been signed for.

All carrier related damages and discrepancies must be reported to us within 2 working days. We will not be responsible for any carrier-related damage or loss reported outside of this 2-day period.

Cancellation / Returns

If you are a consumer, you have the right to cancel the order in writing by fax, letter or e-mail for up to 7 working days from receipt of the goods without giving a reason and the full price and delivery charge will be refunded. You will be responsible for and the costs of returning the product. The product should be returned as soon as reasonably practicable. Should you fail to do so, we are entitled to charge you for the costs of recovery of the goods. You have a duty to take reasonable care of the goods whilst in your possession.

If on return of any product during the cancellation period it is not received in a reasonable condition this may allow us to make a claim for breach of your statutory duty to take reasonable care of the goods.

All returned products of this nature are photographed on arrival at our goods in department.

Refunds

Where a product is returned under the cancellation provisions above we will refund the cost of the product and any order/delivery charges incurred in delivering the product to you within 30 days of receiving notice of cancellation.

Faulty Products

If the product you purchase is not of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose or as described, we will offer a repair, exchange or refund as appropriate and in accordance with your legal rights under the Sale of Goods Act 1979 (as amended). Any such products can be returned to us free of charge.

We will not be liable to you, whether arising as a result of breach of contract or in tort or otherwise for any loss of profits, administrative inconvenience, disappointment, indirect or consequential loss or damage arising as a result of any problem in relation to the goods, although this does not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence.
